Overview

We are seeking an experienced and innovative SDE to be part of our Amazon Leo Commerce team in India. This role will be instrumental in establishing and growing our presence in the region, while developing critical commerce systems for Amazon Leo's global operations. Export Control Requirement: This position may require access to information, technology, or hardware that is subject to export control laws and regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the International Arms Regulations (ITAR). Employment in this position is contingent upon obtaining any required export licenses or other approvals from the United States government.

As such, the successful candidate must be eligible to obtain any necessary export licenses or approvals based on their nationality, citizenship, and any other factors considered by the applicable export control regulation Key job responsibilities • Design components and subsystems with consideration for scalability, reliability, and operational excellence • Design and implement globally available distributed cloud architectures. • Work across team boundaries to integrate systems and resolve dependencies • Collaborate with Software Development Engineers, Product Managers, and UX Designers to ensure the best experience for our customers. A day in the life A day in the life Have you wanted an opportunity to develop software applications and services for an advanced global telecom service? This role is for a SDE who will design, build, and maintain components and services of Amazon Leo's Commerce Systems and interact with the core e-commerce and Amazon Leo network teams.

About the team

Our team owns developing the architecture, solutions & roadmap for managing the global customer lifecycle for telecom commerce services; for example, identity and account management, subscriber management services, user provisioning, billing and payments, customer and technical support tools, offer management tools, and customer metrics and analytics.

Basic qualifications

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience - Experience programming with at least one software programming language - 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience

Preferred qualifications
